Matcha Ceremony - Workshop
Our guest: Bereczki József With over 20 years of tea experience and training in Japan, Bereczki József brings deep expertise in both Chinese teas and the Japanese tea ceremony. Having studied at the Edosenke school and in the Enshu-ryu tradition, he will guide us through a traditionally oriented matcha preparation.
Program Overview
An immersive yet approachable matcha experience that begins with a shared introduction to the cultural and philosophical background of matcha. Participants then take part in a matcha preparation demonstration and ceremony in two small groups, focusing on taste, attention, and presence. Before and after the ceremony, guests are welcome to enjoy the tea house’s other offerings at their own pace.

A shared presentation for the full group, introducing the cultural background, philosophy, and basics of matcha. Seating and standing are both available.
Matcha Preparation & Ceremony
All participants taste two different matcha teas, served in small cups (1–2 sips per tea).
Premium Teander Samidori matcha is served.
