The experience

Donation based 🙂

We’ll begin with a 30-minute silent meditation, followed by an open and casual discussion. There is no particular method, teaching, or philosophy to follow — simply a chance to sit quietly together and share the experience as a group.

What to expect

đŸ” Tea ceremony before and after the meditation
Caffeinated and caffeine-free teas, enjoyed together before and after the session. Made following the Gongfu style method, traditionally.

🧘 30 minutes of silent meditation
No experience is required. You can meditate in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

💬 Casual discussion
Afterwards, we’ll have some tea and an open conversation about the experience — or simply enjoy each other’s company.

A community gathering, not a class

This is not a meditation course, spiritual teaching, or guided session. The gathering is not led by certified meditation teachers, gurus, or spiritual leaders. We are simply a community of people who enjoy meditation and want to practice sitting together.
There is nothing to learn, believe in, or achieve. Come as you are, sit with us, and take a moment to slow down.

Every Sunday

The experience

A Tér & A Håzigazda

Hidden inside an old Budapest apartment building, Okuma is a 150sqm Japandi teahouse unlike anything else in the city. Finding it is already part of the experience – a true urban oasis where the only thing on the agenda is slowing down.

Your Host
This didn’t start as a business. It started as an obsession.
Tea isn’t what he does – it’s how he lives. What you’ll feel from the first minute is a genuine desire to share that world with you. No lecture, no performance. Just warmth, depth, and two hours inside someone else’s lifelong passion.
