Ikebana - The Japanese art of flower arrangement
IKEBANA × TEA CEREMONY
A unique cultural experience of flowers, tea & mindful connection
This October, Unique Decor and Okūma – Tea House & Social Club come together for one very special collaboration.
An intimate morning where the art of Japanese-inspired floral arrangement meets the beauty and ritual of traditional Asian tea.
Program Overview
🌿 Discover the Art of Ikebana
Begin with an introduction to the philosophy and principles of Japanese flower arranging, led by an ikebana specialist. Learn how to see flowers, branches, space, and balance differently — then put it into practice.
✂️ Create Your Own Arrangement
Choose from a selection of seasonal flowers and materials and compose your own ikebana arrangement with guidance throughout the process. No previous experience is needed. Your finished creation is yours to take home.
🍵 A Traditional Japanese Tea Experience
While you work, enjoy Japanese tea prepared and served in a traditional way. Through storytelling, discover the culture, rituals, and meaning behind the tea you are drinking.
🎁 Something to Take Home
Leave with more than your flowers: take your ikebana arrangement home, together with a small tea gift to continue the experience later.
A slow, hands-on afternoon of flowers, tea, and Japanese tradition — come create something beautiful and experience the ritual for yourself.
