SUMMARY:Friday Sobers - Tea House Party
DESCRIPTION:Community gathering \nFriday Sobers – Tea House Party\n\nMusic · Snacks · Good Company \n·Umlimited Premium Tea (Including Herbal)\n at Okūma\n July 24\n @\n7:00 pm\n –\n10:00 pm \nA hidden apartment. Good people. No alcohol required. \nOn Fridays\, we open the doors of Okuma for a relaxed evening of music\, conversation\, and connection. Come solo or bring friends—grab a seat\, wander between rooms\, meet new people\, and make yourself at home. \nEach table gets a different tea\, so the simplest way to start a conversation is to wander over and taste what they’re brewing. Music in the background\, snacks on the table\, good company all around—just a cozy home\, an open seat\, and unlimited tea worth sipping. \nThe tea is included. The atmosphere is why people come back. \n	\n	\n\n	\n	\n\n	\n	\n \n\n	RSVP HERE\n 0\n Going\n RSVP Here\n	\n Going	\n	\n Can't go	\n About this event \nA hidden apartment. Good people. No alcohol required.\n\nFriday Sobers is basically a house party without the alcohol. \nIf you’ve never been to Okuma before\, it’s a hidden tea house tucked away inside an old renovated apartment. Cozy rooms\, warm lighting\, vintage furniture\, music playing in the background\, and people spread out across the space. It feels more like hanging out at a friend’s place than going to an event. \nOn Friday nights\, we open the doors and see who shows up. \nSome people come with friends\, some come alone and end up talking to strangers. People move between rooms\, join different conversations\, discover new teas\, listen to music\, and settle into the evening at their own pace. \nWe’ve got unlimited premium loose-leaf teas and herbal blends brewing all night\, but honestly\, the tea is mostly an excuse to bring good people together. The real point is having a place to spend a Friday evening that isn’t a bar\, a club\, or another loud venue where nobody can hear each other. \nJust good vibes\, interesting people\, and a cozy hidden apartment in the middle of the city. \n🕕 7PM–9:30PM💸 4\,900 HUF (unlimited tea included) – RSVP on website🎓 Students get 10% off \nCome solo\, bring friends\, or do both. \nWhats’ Included\n• A hidden apartment tea house for the entire evening (7–9:30PM)• Unlimited premium teas & herbal blends• A different tea at every table to discover and share• Gaiwans\, sharing pitchers\, and cups ready for you• Curated music\, ambient lighting\, and immersive visuals throughout the night• Conversation\, and a room full of interesting people \n• Egy rejtett lakás-teaház a tiéd az egész estére (19:00–21:30)• Korlátlan prémium szálas teák és gyógynövényes főzetek• Minden asztalon más tea vár felfedezésre és megosztásra• Gaiwanok\, közös teáskancsók és csészék előkészítve• Gondosan válogatott zene\, hangulatvilágítás és látványos vizuálok egész este• Beszélgetések\, új kapcsolódások és egy szoba tele érdekes emberekkel \n When & where \nThe details.\n Entry to the buildingYou’ll receive a personal entry codeAfter completing your booking\, a personal code to access the building will be sent to you by email and/or SMS. SUMMARY:Exhibition Closing: Ilya Gaponov - The Garden
DESCRIPTION:Event \nIlya Gaponov:\nThe Garden\n at Okūma \n  \n July 26\n @\n5:30 pm\n –\n8:30 pm \nJoin us for the closing evening of The Garden\, the solo exhibition by Ilya Gaponov. \nExperience the exhibition one last time\, reflecting on the beauty of changing seasons\, the cyclical rhythm of time\, and the fleeting nature of the present moment. \nThe evening will feature a special projection mapping by digital artist Ilya Filin\, bringing the original artwork to life through light and movement. \n5:30 PM — Welcome drink5:45 PM — Exhibition introduction\, projection mapping & tea sessionAdmission is free > Teas as per menu. \n	\n	\n\n	\n	\n\n	\n	\n \n\n	Booking required\n 1\n Going\n RSVP Here\n	\n Going	\n About this event \nOpening: 5:30 PMClosing: 8:30 \n5:30 PM > Introduction to exhibition with a welcome drink6:00 PM > Main hall for a tea session + Projection Mapping & Music.  \nThe Garden is a space where ritual\, image\, and environment converge. It brings together the tea ceremony and a landscape centered on a persimmon tree\, where art unfolds in direct relation to its surroundings. Gesture\, perception\, and spatial experience move within a shared rhythm of attention. \nThe persimmon tree carries cultural memory across East Asia. Originating in China and later spreading to Japan and Korea\, it is associated with seasonal cycles\, agricultural labor\, and everyday life. In Chinese culture\, it symbolizes harmony and prosperity\, while in Japan it is linked to autumn\, transience\, and the concept of mono no aware\, an awareness of the fleeting nature of things and the beauty found in impermanence. \nWithin the tea house\, these meanings are embodied through experience. The tea ceremony becomes a practice of attention\, slowness\, and precise gesture\, reflecting time not as linear but cyclical\, like the changing seasons. The persimmon landscape extends this idea into visual form. \nOverall\, the exhibition creates a unified field of attention in which the viewer enters a state of presence. Tea\, space\, image\, and natural rhythm merge into a cyclical experience of time. \n  \nAbout the Artist\nIlya Gaponov (b. 1981\, Kemerovo) is a Russian artist currently living and working in Budapest. He works across painting\, installation\, object-based art\, video\, and performance. He graduated from the Kemerovo Art College (2001) and the Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design in St. Petersburg (2007). He also studied at the PRO ARTE Institute and at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. \nHe has participated in exhibitions and biennials in Russia and internationally. His works are included in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery\, the State Russian Museum\, the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art\, as well as private collections in Europe and the United States. \n  \n When & where \nThe details.\nPhotographs or video recordings of guests may be taken during the event. \n Entry to the buildingYou’ll receive a personal entry codeAfter completing your booking\, a personal code to access the building will be sent to you by email and/or SMS.
