SUMMARY:Friday Sobers: The Tea Social
DESCRIPTION:Workshop\n \n \n Tea Tasting & Workshop \n \n at Okūma  								\n \n \n \n \n May 16\n\n	\n\n @ \n\n\n10:00 am\n\n \n\n\n\n	\n - \n\n12:30 pm\n\n\n\n	\n \n \n \n Learn the ancient Chinese art of gong fu cha — no experience needed. Four senses. One slow morning. \n \n There’s a way of making tea that turns a simple leaf into a conversation. Gong fu cha is the Chinese practice of brewing tea with care — small vessels\, short infusions\, and full attention. Each pour reveals a new layer. The same leaf tastes different the third time\, the fifth time\, the seventh time. You don’t just drink it. You listen to it. This workshop is for people who have never tried gong fu cha — or have always been curious on high quality but didn’t know where to start. What happens — You’ll taste three carefully chosen teas — each from a different world. A light oolong that opens like spring. A roasted tea with depth and warmth. An aged tea that carries time in every sip. With each tea\, we’ll explore a new layer of perception: aroma\, taste\, mouthfeel\, and the quiet aftertaste the Chinese call hui gan — the sweetness that returns. You’ll hold a gaiwan in your hands\, pour your own tea\, and discover that the ritual is simpler than it looks. What to bring — Just yourself. We provide everything else. \n \n \n \n \n \n Details \n \n When          \, Saturday\, 10:00 – 13:00 Where         Okūma— Vörösmarty utca 19\, Budapest Duration      2 hours guided workshop + free tea time until 13:00 Group size    Maximum 10 people Experience    None needed — complete beginners welcome Language      Hungarian (English available on request) Included      Three premium teas\, light snacks\, all teaware\, tasting notes to take home + 1 portion Xia Hu Sai tea Price         13.900 HUF / person \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n When & where \n \n The details. \n \n Entry to the buildingYou'll receive a personal entry codeAfter completing your booking\, a personal code to access the building will be sent to you by email and/or SMS.
