Tonight we won’t try to understand the artist. Instead\, we’ll spend an evening with him. We usually experience art with our eyes. We visit museums. Read exhibition labels. Listen to lectures. But what if there was another way? What if art could also be experienced through taste\, atmosphere\, silence and conversation? Tea with the Artist is an original immersive cultural experience where art\, tea and dialogue come together. It is not a lecture. It is an invitation to slow down\, observe\, reflect and experience art in a different way. Each evening is dedicated to one artist and one carefully selected tea that echoes the spirit of their work. Our first evening is dedicated to Mark Rothko. At first glance\, his paintings seem remarkably simple. Large fields of colour. Very little narrative. Yet people stand in front of them for hours. Why? Together we’ll explore Rothko’s life\, artistic vision and most iconic works—not in search of the “correct” interpretation\, but in search of our own experience. We’ll look carefully. Slow down. Share impressions. And perhaps discover something deeply personal. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n More details \n \n The tea of the eveningFor Mark Rothko we have chosen aged Pu-erh. Deep. Layered. Patient. Like Rothko’s paintings\, it reveals itself gradually\, rewarding attention rather than haste. Tea becomes another language through which we experience art. During the eveningA specially selected tea set inspired by Mark Rothko An engaging introduction to Rothko’s life and artistic vision Guided viewing of his most important works A relaxed conversation where there are no right or wrong answers—only personal impressions and discoveries About the projectTea with the Artist is a series of immersive cultural experiences where every evening is dedicated to one artist and one carefully chosen tea. We don’t try to explain art. We create space to experience it. Through taste. Through atmosphere. Through conversation. Because art is not only something to look at. Our first evening is dedicated to Mark Rothko. At first glance\, his paintings seem remarkably simple. Large fields of colour. Very little narrative. Yet people stand in front of them for hours. Why?
